Questions
Is this a rating?
No. A UMFR report is a signal for review, not a credit rating, and UMFR is not a rating agency.
Is it an audit or an agreed-upon-procedures report?
No. Agreed-upon-procedures reports are issued by CPAs; a UMFR report is neither an audit opinion nor one, though a CPA can adopt its schedules in their own engagement.
Does an AI read my documents?
No language model reads the documents or decides the numbers on any served path. A separate model-extraction harness exists in the codebase and is unreachable from any served route.
What happens to my documents?
On the private path documents are read in memory and nothing is retained; an automated gate proves that path makes zero writes and zero outbound calls, and its logs carry counts and states, never document content.
What formats do you read?
The private path reads digital-text PDFs. A spreadsheet or a Word file is not read, and the report lists it as an unreadable file rather than guessing.
Public versus private: what differs?
Two of the five diligence questions, Definition and Arithmetic, run end-to-end on a private package. The other three run on public filings, and the report declares what does not run on private documents.
What does 79% mean?
In the median agreement of the 2024 draw, 79% of the terms that send the covenant-EBITDA definition outside the agreement could not be recomputed by anyone outside the deal (78% in the 2023 draw). The spread is the finding: 0 to 100% by agreement.
What does the receipt prove, and what does it not?
The digest proves that the report you hold is the one the digest was computed over; it does not by itself prove who issued it.
Can you run my borrower?
For a public filer, the screening report runs on its own SEC or ESEF filings, with access gated. A private package is run in a pilot.
Is UMFR a model under SR 26-2?
SR 26-2 (17 April 2026) excludes deterministic rule-based software from its definition of a model; your own governance still applies to any third-party tool.
Does it read IFRS?
Yes: IFRS filers on EDGAR (20-F and 40-F), and EU and UK filers through ESEF, by LEI.
Who built it?
UMFR is built by a founder with two decades of executive and board-level leadership in banking, financial services, and beyond — 15 institutional board seats across 8 jurisdictions.
